The Golf School

J. Banks Guyton is recognized as one of the most experienced and competent golf instructors in the coastal Carolina area. His ability to convey the nuances of improving an individual’s golf swing and thereby lowering your score-per-round is a talent very few golf instructors can claim.

The Golf School at Beau Rivage is open year round. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Monday through Thursdays, and classes are available to individuals as well as groups of 4 to 8 (1 instructor per each group of 4). You can choose attend The Golf School  for just one day or up to 3 complete days of intensive golf schooling.

Beau Rivage Golf & Resort offers those attending The Golf School accommodations in one of their in-suite golf villas. “Stay and Play” golf packages include a 2 night stay, breakfast daily and 3 rounds of golf on our beautiful 18-hole championship course. Golf Instruction with Greg Pitts

Teaching Philosophy:

• The golf swing is nothing more than an athletic move. In order to achieve this athletic motion, we must be fundamentally sound pre-swing and during the swing. My goal is to provide my students the key principles to help them move toward their fundamental golf swings using progressive learning techniques and self-diagnosis.

The program is designed for golfers who would like a check-up on Full Swing Ball Striking or one specific area of the short game: Pitching, Chipping, Putting or Sand play.
